Plipp Creator Terms

These Creator Terms apply to anyone who wants to sell digital products through Plipp.

By becoming a creator, you agree to these terms in addition to Plipp's general Terms & Conditions.

1. Becoming a Creator

Anyone who meets Plipp's requirements may apply to become a creator.

Creator accounts must be verified and approved by Plipp before the creator can begin selling.

Plipp may request information or verification necessary to confirm the creator's identity and protect the marketplace.

2. What Creators Can Sell

Creators may sell permitted digital products including:

  • eBooks
  • Courses
  • Templates
  • Workbooks
  • Scripts
  • Guides
  • Other digital products approved by Plipp

At launch, uploaded product files must be PDF or DOCX.

Plipp may introduce additional supported formats in the future.

3. Creator Responsibility

Creators are fully responsible for their products.

Creators must:

  • Own or have the necessary rights to the content they sell.
  • Provide accurate product descriptions.
  • Avoid false or misleading claims.
  • Answer reasonable customer questions about their products.
  • Provide appropriate product updates where applicable.
  • Ensure their products comply with applicable laws and Plipp policies.

Creators must not upload or sell content that they do not have the legal right to distribute.

Uploading stolen, pirated, or copyrighted content without permission may result in an immediate permanent ban.

Plipp may remove the content and may take additional action where appropriate.

5. Fraud and Scams

Fraudulent activity, scams, deceptive sales practices, or intentionally misleading customers are strictly prohibited.

A serious fraud or scam violation may result in an immediate permanent ban.

Plipp may also preserve relevant information and cooperate with appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

6. Product Removal

Plipp may remove a product when it:

  • Violates these Creator Terms.
  • Violates Plipp's Terms & Conditions.
  • Contains stolen or infringing content.
  • Is fraudulent or misleading.
  • Creates a security, legal, or platform risk.
  • Otherwise violates applicable requirements.

7. Creator Earnings

Creators receive 80% of the sale amount.

Plipp receives 20%.

Payment processing costs applicable to Plipp are handled from Plipp's share.

Creator earnings may be subject to temporary holds when necessary for refunds, disputes, security checks, or investigations.

8. Withdrawals

Creators can withdraw eligible earnings when they meet all withdrawal requirements:

  • Verified account.
  • At least 10 customers have purchased their products.
  • At least 14 days have passed since account verification.
  • Available balance of at least 1,000 RWF for supported MTN or Airtel withdrawals.

A 350 RWF flat cash-out fee is deducted from the creator's withdrawal.

Plipp may temporarily delay a withdrawal when additional checks are necessary.

9. Account Suspension

Plipp may temporarily suspend, restrict, or pause a creator account because of:

  • Suspicious activity.
  • Unusual transactions.
  • Potential fraud.
  • Customer complaints requiring investigation.
  • Security concerns.
  • Policy violations.
  • Verification problems.

Suspension does not automatically mean that a creator has committed a violation. Plipp may review the situation before making a final decision.

10. Permanent Termination

Plipp may permanently terminate a creator account for serious violations, including fraud, scams, stolen content, copyright infringement, or repeated violations.

When an account is permanently terminated, legitimate unpaid earnings may be handled according to Plipp's Terms & Conditions.

Funds connected to fraud, refunds, disputes, illegal activity, or other legitimate claims may be withheld or reversed.

11. Creator Account Deletion

Creators may request deletion of their account by contacting Plipp Support.

Plipp may require the creator to provide a reason for the deletion request.

Deletion does not remove responsibilities relating to previous transactions, refunds, disputes, intellectual property, or policy violations.

12. Changes to Creator Terms

Plipp may update these Creator Terms as the platform develops.

Important changes may be communicated to creators through appropriate platform or contact channels.
